I honestly had no idea there was a tool as powerful as MIDI that could be the basis for an entire, original musical selection. Most impressive to me is the fact MIDI has most every musical note you could wish for in tune and readily accessible for use. With a tool such as this, it is easy for me to understand the relative ease perfecting a song could be. Simply put, if you don’t like how a portion of a song sounds replacing or editing it could not be easier; instead of having to rerecord the song just replace what you don’t like with what you do! The possibilities and ease is near endless!

Here is an article that explains how important a system like MIDI is for modern pieces of music:

The article or more the topic of Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) is a very complex system but in essence, it is the controller of everything needed to produce music more simply. In plain English, MIDI is the storage unit and the “leader” that helps the other gadgets do their job. An essential part is that MIDI allows the user to edit specific parts of the recording. For instance, if I don’t like the sound at 31 seconds through 37 seconds then simply just remove it and replace it with the simplicity that is MIDI. This removes the hassle of having to re-record the entire song. Although the MIDI is a crucial element, the sequencer is also much needed to record the sound, edit, and then replay the MIDI data that is obtained.

MIDI is a crucial aspect of the development of music in the studio. It’s like the coding for an app that sets up given outputs. It’s interesting how music can involve all sorts of demands such as computer science, it shows how music can be much more than just a single tune.

I have personally never have heard of the MIDI instrument but I’m intrigued to hear about its benefits. The MIDI offers many different abilities to enhance your music production such as being able to trigger a new sound if you aren’t satisfied with the first one. The set-up isn’t too difficult and this machine is actually affordable compared to the other instruments we’ve seen in this course.

If you’re interested in actually hearing a MIDI instrument, here you go.. (it’s the whole movie of Shrek in MIDI so I think it’s worth your time) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcehaxidJZk

If I am being completely honest, the MIDI instrument is a bit confusing to me. It is extremely complex and it contains so many abilities that surely do make the process of creating music easier, but it just seems so confusing! I do believe that if I were to get hands-on with it and actually work with it, it would be a lot easier to understand rather than just reading about it, though. It is incredible how there is such equipment to help in the process of music making. It is a brilliant invention, that I am sure people from before the 80’s wish they had had. From my understanding, it is what coding is but rather for music. It sort of reminds me- which I may be wrong- but a different form of this studio software called “FL Studio” I suppose in the way of telling the machine the parts and sounds you want, and being able to cut/remove/insert different parts however you may want it. Here is more on FL Studio:

MIDI is very convenient because it allows plenty of musical instruments and other electronic devices to communicate. This interface is also quite beneficial in that is allows someone to edit the sounds of a performance without having to go through the entire process of re-recording. The MIDI is truly a powerful interface that make your performances better in a shorter amount of time.

MIDI seems to have a lot in common with neumes given that it’s information as opposed to a sound. The article did note that MIDI are also like player pianos, it’s interesting how older technology has been recycled and and made into newer versions of the same thing. There is also a lot of overlap between MIDI and HI-FI given that you are able to customize the setup to your individual needs. In a time where most brands are trying to copyright patents essentially choking out competitors and forcing consumers to purchase only their product it’s nice to see that across the board multiple companies came together to make MIDI happen.

MIDI is something I have actually never heard of. I don’t have experience recording music. I’ve learned about its flexibility as a system and that it doesn’t directly utilize audio. MIDI file formats and other features are all parts of a “language” of the system. It is a crucial piece of recording music in the industry. It relies on features to digitally transcribe music, along with other functions. It’s just one of many aspects of the music industry I’m learning about now.

    1. Callan Sramek

I totally agree. The versatility and widespread use of MIDI makes it an incredibly powerful tool for musicians who deal with recorded music. Having such a universal language, as you put it, makes communication and transmission of the recorded music so much easier and could create a community of shared ideas.

Before reading this article, I had never heard of a MIDI. However, I have heard of the components related to MIDI such as synths but nothing else. I found it really interesting that people can create full-length tracks in their own home, with the right equipment. When creating a MIDI system, there are different ways you can create a system that’s right for you. You can have a MIDI system that is more portable with just the MIDI controller and a DAW (computer). Or, you can have something a bit bulkier such as adding the MIDI sequencer, drum machine, and synthesizer. As interesting as this was, it would definitely not be the music for me. If you are thinking of getting started with a MIDI system, I provided a video on where to start with the keyboard and which of the cheaper options are best. Enjoy.

The invention of the MIDI in the early 80’s helped the process of making music much more innovative. With the MIDI, editing a track was made out to be as simple and time effective as possible. Just with this in mind, just imagine how much money was saved in recording studios. Instead of having to re-record the music, the MIDI allowed for the editing of the recording.

Even after its invention, it is interesting to see that the invention of a new generation of MIDI is currently being researched. Below is an article showing the details:

MIDI is basically a music sheet from what I understand. This device is able to electronically describe what notes to be played, at what tempo, and for how long. I think it seems very flexible and convenient if you need to edit your music because you can do so without erasing all of your work. Below involves a tutorial for using MIDI: https://www.midi.org/articles-old/about-midi-part-1-overview

The integration of MIDI is one of the most beneficial things I’ve seen in the music industry. The fact that multiple manufacturers decided to help in the creation and integration of MIDI instead of ignoring and creating their own interface is astonishing. Once they tuned it to perfection it allowed for crucial data to be transferred painlessly and quickly. The growth of MIDI maybe one of the best evolutions of music technology in the past 40 years.

I have only heard of MIDI tech once before in my life and I thought it was something complete different. Now I know that MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is “technical standard that describes a communications protocol, digital interface, and electrical connectors that connect a wide variety of electronic musical instruments, computers, and related audio devices for playing, editing and recording music” (MIDI, wiki). MIDI has so many uses that has become extremely beneficial for music production industry. MIDI made it possible to create music using a standard keyboard or other input device.

I had never heard of the MIDI, and now I see that it is an important device in the music world. I think it’s so cool that there is something like this for artists, as it has many benefits and doesn’t seem to have any disadvantages. It is faster and costs less because it can be used and connected anywhere, as long as you have the right equipment. I think the most imoportant advantage is that you can edit or add sounds without having to redo the entire recording. After researching it further, I saw that you can also change the tempo without warping the sound, and since it only contains data, no audio, files are smaller, and so it can still be used on devices that are low on memory.

After reading the article about MIDI I’m purely amazed at how easy it is to make the song better within a matter of seconds with little to no effort! Simply put its a way to remove what you don’t like about your song and replace it with something that sounds way better without having to rerecord. Again this is a piece of technology to help musicians have even less skill compared to the past. I have attached an article below explaining MIDI a bit more,

After reading this fantastic piece about MIDI, I learned a lot about how musical instruments and devices are used during the recording process. MIDI is truly an amazing and brilliant tool that allows producers to make incredible sounds that are enjoyable to all listeners. I was surprised to learn that the machine did not actually record the audio instead it is simply data that gives instructions to other machines such as a drum machine to play a certain beat or sound. The connections and other devices you can connect are pretty diverse and seem hard to navigate. Below I attached a link to a website that sells this type of equipment. Looking over this will give you an idea of how much it costs.

This article, I think, is a very valuable piece of writing for all individuals in every crevice of the music production world. From producers to the artists themselves, everyone has reason to be grateful for the innovation that was MIDI production and it is important to spread the history of it’s development and implementation. That’s why articles like this one and the article attached are critical to the education of music creators in the future.

I like how the author explains things in a simple manner and sets the tone by stating he is just learning how to work MIDI as well, it makes readers more comfortable. I also like how the author covers all the bases by including history of the MIDI, what it does and doesn’t do, and tips for people who already have setups. This article makes me especially interested due to the amount of detail put into describing and showing photos of MIDI connections, along with links to other helpful cites. I like this because I am so bad at finding out things on my own wire and electronic wise, and the way the author wrote this is just really helpful for people like me who need things told to them bluntly.

MIDI was an interesting instrument to learn about. I have never heard of this prior to reading this article but it is interesting to see how it is important for individuals, especially producers, and its significance in the studio. The creation of this device created a major change within the music industry. The creation of this device made it more convenient for all individuals taking part in recording music. This article helped to understand what MIDI was but, if you would like to learn more about the history and creation of MIDI take time to look at the link below

It’s really interesting to me how you can use MIDI and literally connect everything to read the same data and communicate all together. I hadn’t ever heard of this before but I imagine that it’s very useful for some. The fact that you can get sixteen different sounds from one instrument is crazy. All you have to do is make sure they are on different channels and then you have a crazy variety.

I was still a little confused about MIDI after the article and this video helped to clear some things up for me.

The Musical Instrument Digital Interface is also known as a MIDI. A MIDI allows computers, musical instruments and other hardware to communicate. It was first invented during the early 80s to standardize communication between music hardware. MIDI instrument has multiple keys to press which can include a key On and off, pitches or notes played, velocity, aftertouch, tempo, panning, modulations and volume. There are multiple different types of MIDI for music productions the link below explains more about the importance of MIDI’s and how MIDI’s changed the world of music.

Prior to reading this article, I had no idea what MIDI was. However, after reading this article, I was surprised by how much MIDI’s did when it comes to making music. I also found it very interesting how MIDIs allow computers to communicate with musical instruments. Due to this, I was interested to see a MIDI actually working in person. While I did not have the ability to see it in person, I was able to find a video showing how the computer and instrument communicate with one another. Here is a video of a guy playing the guitar and showing how it communicates with the computer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLFogKII0Uk

Before reading this article I had no clue what a MIDI was. MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface and it has the ability to allow computers, musical instruments and hardware to communicate. With this it creates data that can be used as a set of instructions that machines use to speak. This makes sampling and editing much easier when trying to put a song together. Heres a link to learn a little bit more about MIDI and where it came from:

Many new artist are well versed in new technology, enter MIDI, a new device that allows for manipulation of music. I see the advantages in this new tech, yet I do also see some of the negative in putting music into the realm of pure tech. I believe it when they say that MIDI puts music into plain English and allowing for sampling and editing, but you need to know how to play an instrument before you move into a software for those who have extensive musical knowledge. I do see this tool necessary for the advancement of music, but it feels like a tool to oversimplify music, and it just seems that new lovers of music would become too familiar and comfortable with purely online music, so get out there and learn music before you manipulate with the help of technology.

Here is how the use of this tech can destroy you brain, and your computer https://earthlymission.com/black-midi-songs-will-kill-your-brain-and-your-computer/

The MIDI or Musical Instrument Digital Interface, was a facinating tool to read about. It was amazing to see how sounds that our cellphones used to maje was created by the MIDI. With the ability to, note on, note off and change the pitch wheel, it is amazing that the inventor Dave Smith created this.

  26. Mackenzie Nolen

It surprised me to learn that there wasn’t a standard instrument language until 1982, creating and editing content must have been very difficult up until that point. With the addition of MIDI, a synchronization of the entire set up. MIDI has proven to be a versatile, helpful tool in the production and creation of music. This simple, yet advanced concept allows for a digitized take on music recording. Synthesizers, keyboards, and and drum machines, can be synchronized to suit the player’s preference. This allows one person, to preform like an entire band.

Before reading this article, I had no idea what a MIDI was but now that I know, Its good to know about this amazing piece of hardware. The MIDI has closed the gap between technology and music. The integration that’s added is amazing because the user is able to control every aspect of the sound being produced digitally. The use of a MIDI truly simplifies the work needed to be added prior to recording which is amazing! The use of a MIDI reminds me of computer science where the MIDI isn’t the audio but it can control how its being produced respectively.

When I first read through this article I was still greatly confused by the actually use behind a MIDI setup, even though I have been around and seen these systems in work. After a second careful look I truly see the amazing power behind using a MIDI to keep musical data to rearrange and reconfigure performances to the liking of the producer. Not only does this allow greater musical freedom for artist, it saves many hours of reperforming or replaying the same music with minor tweeks over and over again, a truly amazing piece of technology.

This article about MIDI was great to read about as I’ve used MIDI for a while to create EDM music. It is essential to the creation of music in this era and can be seen in rap or hip hop also. There’s no doubt MIDI is a powerful tool that made it easier to create and record within a DAW without needing fancy recording equipment or instruments. It also allows you to quantize the notes you play in a recording which is great for correcting mistakes instead of doing an entirely new take over again. VST plugins were also revolutionary although the article doesn’t go into too much detail about them. MIDI has effected me in a great way and it was really interesting to read about it.

After seeing the “MIDI In”plug receiver on many soundboards or music equipment, I realize I never understood what it really meant. Thanks to this article, I learned that MIDI, or Musical Instrument Digital Interface, is a language of sorts that allows musical instruments, computers, and other musical hardware to communicate. Although it was created in the 80s by Ikutaro Kakehashi, MIDI is frequently used in the modern day music industry due to its ability to make an artist’s performance better in less time. The following link is a further dissection of MIDI and how it works.

MIDI was a great invention that allowed musicians and producers more flexibility to create music. MIDI files required he use of less memory to record audio, freeing up space on your hard drive for more sounds and recordings. The major benefit of MIDI was becoming a standardized format by US and Japanese manufacturers. MIDI data is essentially sheet music until it is played by an instrument. Instead of recording the sounds you simply record the data, which is played back and sent to the instruments.

MIDI has enabled myriads of sound devices to work in conjunction with one another, and this in turn has created an opportunity for people to create their own home music studios. With digital sound devices able to communicate together, there’s plenty of options at plenty of price levels for people to purchase to create music in their own homes. This has allowed a new generation in music where artists don’t need a record company to lend them a studio, for they can simply create their own. 33. Torrey Prukop

MIDI was one of those inventions that all musicians could benefit from no matter what genre you produce in. It seems that MIDI has taken over this generation of music and is a very big tool in the production of music, especially for hip hop and rap music It’s cool to learn that some of my favorite music artists use MIDI formats in almost all of their music. Included is an article on the beginners guide to using MIDI controllers. https://www.musicradar.com/tuition/tech/the-beginners-guide-to-midi-controllers-179018

In a home studio environment, MIDI is crucial to maintain simplicity. For instance, you could absolutely have a drum set, a keyboard, guitars, mic’d amplifiers, a bass, bass amplifiers, synthesizers, etc…. Or you could have a laptop and a MIDI controller. Now I understand that these are extreme examples as with MIDI you don’t have to choose between ALL analog and ALL digital, however this is an example of how MIDI can help. Songs can be created from scratch through a MIDI setup, or it can be used to touch up and add to analog recordings. Let’s say you record your friends “garage band” at your home studio. They are on a limited budget and can only come in once. If you’re producing their newest single and find discrepancies and errors in the initial recording, you can use MIDI to reproduce the sounds and splice them into the mix without having to re-record. MIDI is an extremely flexible tool that makes the producing process efficient, and it has led to an advance in the way modern music sounds.

The MIDI which is short for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, can be a device that can be a musical instrument or a way for hardware to communicate. MIDI gets confused with the thought of giving the audible sound, but in reality it just controls the data that is being transferred to the MIDI keyboard or synthesizer, so that it can generate and sometimes record. In the link below, is a tutorial based on what the MIDI is and how to properly use it.

The MIDI invention is considered unparalleled in terms of accessible ways to edit and sync music together. It’s widely used by artists and the music industry to crank out the newest hits. Details like chord progression and synchronized notes and keys are made to be effortless, but may take away from creativity and the art of playing an instrument for every take. Either way we are currently in a technological age where everything is digitized, and perhaps MIDI will advance further than people could possibly imagine.

It is interesting to see how MIDI works. No sound it sent by the MIDI, instead it sends what are a called “event messages” to equipment. The “event messages instruct a piece of equipment to play a specific sound. MIDI data is sent digitally, this means that the signal pins either carry a voltage or not. This corresponds to binary values of 1 and 0.

The MIDI controller revolutionized the studio recording process. It simplified the way it worked by decreasing the amount of things you would have to control to create a piece of music. Instead of having a bunch of instruments and things like that, you could just have MIDI. Ultimately, the advantages that the use of MIDI gives over other digital ways to record is exponential. Without the creation of MIDI in 1982, who knows what the recording industry would be like.

MIDI is an incredibly useful system used to record and produce electronic music, a process which began with the rock and roll and synth pop experimentalists in the 1980s and later had a resurgence in the late 1990s when computer software began not only emulating the sounds of instruments, but could orchestrate the synthetics faster and easier than any system before. The technology is used so universally today that the price of admission for quality electronic music production has become accessible to the mass market.

I see the preferences in this new tech, yet I do likewise observe a portion of the negative in placing music into the domain of pure tech. I trust when they state that MIDI places music into plain English and strongly considers inspecting and altering, however one just has to realize how to play an instrument before you move into a product for the individuals who have broad melodic learning. I do see this gadget vital for the progression of music, yet it feels like a device to distort music, and it just appears that new admirers of music would turn out to be excessively comfortable and alright with absolutely online music, so I say we learn and comprehend music the pure and classic way to truly know music by heart.

MIDI is a package that allows music and instruments to intermingle through digital interfaces. It only records what is played and then it has to be mixed. Who knew how important that would be when working or creating music. There are typically 3 things one would need, a sequencer, an input device and a sound generator when recording MIDI. The internet is a great resource when wanting to find out about how it works.

MIDI is a Musical Instrumental Digital Interface. A MIDI keyboard was created to be used as instrument and allows you to edit your music. A lot of companies were coming out with their own MIDI version but in the early 80’s they came out with a standard MIDI. A standard MIDI keyboard allowed MIDI technology to improve, it became a popular and useful tool to use. They’re easy to use and can be use with any computer by connecting it with a USB cable or MIDI cable to connect other devices. There’s a wide range of keyboards with different number of keys and each can have a different sound. Standard MIDI were released in the 80’s and 40 years later they’re still used.

I really love midi. Without midi, we wouldn’t have a lot of hip-hop music. For instance, people like Kanye West, J-Dilla, RZA, Metro Boomin, wouldn’t have been able to create any beats without using a midi controller such as an MPC or a midi piano keyboard. I also use Midi on a daily basis to practice my scales on my piano but Im able do it while using different sounds like a synthesizer or a Rhodes. Midi controllers come in different variations and I’m able to bring my controller anywhere and practice whenever I have time outside of school and work.

midi devices are a really useful tool for helping novice producers create music. when I first started to create music I would draw every note into my daw and it would take hours to complete a song. while the midi devices help in time management they also help fuel the creative process of producing music. it allows you to experiment with the different sounds and rhythms that a DAW by itself would lack. I have attached a link on how artists and midi have influenced artists.

Midi devices are extremely helpful in this day and age of digital music. Up and coming producers as well as those who are well established still use them to this day, especially by how affordable they’ve become due to the technological advancements of this century. The device allows them to be able to record seamlessly as if you were a skilled pianist. And even if you can’t play well it helps you track out the notes so that you can quantize nd edit in you’re DAW for the sound you’re looking to create. There’s no telling what else we’ll come up with to help digitally record music in the future!

creating music in today’s world means using lots of technology. To me making music back in the day might have been easier because it was more simple however the quality and variety is very limited to what musicians can create now. The MIDI is one of the technological advances in music producing. It allows you to get any sound you need along with many editing options. Although the MIDI is very helpful to producers it’s very confusing to me so I watched this video to help me better understand all the MIDI has to offer and how exactly it works.

The MIDI is a powerful tool that allows producers to create anything in the studio. MIDI is short for Musical Instrument Digital Interference that allows computers and musical instruments to communicate. The MIDI was first introduced in the 80s and wasn’t perfect until a couple of years ago. MIDI uses sequencers to record and edit the data. MIDI tends to be confused with transmitting audio signals, but it is just data. MIDI makes editing music faster and better. If you do not like a specific sound, you can change it without ht need of re-recording the instrument. If you are interested in music production, you will need one of these bad boys.

Before reading this article, I had no idea there was such a thing as MIDI. Despite this technology being fairly small, it’s very powerful and can transform any music production. It was interesting to learn that MIDI is not an audio transmitter but rather a universal translator for different machines to process data.

With the introduction of MIDI the music industry was once again changed. The power behind this device to give you the sound you want at any moment was tremendous. Producers could now get their music to sound almost exactly the way they wanted it to. I’m excited to see what advancement replaces MIDI for an even better experience.

Prior to the article, I was only aware of what MIDI stood for, but not completely familiar with the many many activities its capable of! The room and possibilities of what to compose is overwhelming but the article helps break things down step by step for the most part. The MIDI changes the music industry in that it makes editing and composing so easy and fast.

MIDI made a huge change in the music industry and developed making it easy to get the exact sound or pitch you wanted. Laying the foundation for the future to come of popular artist we know today that have developed things such as rappers, singer and many others that try acquire the most appealing tones.

I personally didn’t know anything about MIDIs and have never heard of them before this article. I find it interesting how complex it it, yet its only a set of instructions. I assumed it was a piece of equipment or instrument.

MIDI is very interesting to learn about, but it still seems very confusing to use. MIDI data contains a list of events or messages that tell an electronic device how to generate a certain sound. When you record music onto a computer using MIDI, the software saves this list of messages and instructions as a .MID file. If you play the .MID file back on an electronic keyboard, the keyboard’s internal synthesizer software follows the instructions to play back the song. The keyboard will play a certain key with a certain velocity and hold it for a specified amount of time before moving on to the next

Oh goody I was waiting for us to get to this part of the class. I love LOVE Midi controllers. With technology finally working together with music to make a new age of music. Midis allowed us the artist to finally have a tangible way to make music within the comfort of our own homes. Companies within the industry like Apple, Avid and Fl would reign supreme in the digital music making marketplace. Attached below is steve jobs first garageband keynote that showed how powerful midis and DAWs could be.

MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, it provides connections to computers and musical instruments to talk to each other. MIDI was created in the early 80’s to make a new standard of music hardware and the way they communicate. Sequencers act like main hub for MIDI and allow you to playback, edit, record, and playback the project you are creating. MIDI is used to transfer and transmit data, it doesn’t not produce an audio signal itself. This audio system is compact, easy to use, and more portable then other music producing mediums. The system also allows adding in new instruments or beats to be very easy. When using MIDI the correct connections are necessary to link and create a system to use. Most MIDI systems use a 5 pin DIN cable. The system uses different port types like MIDI out, MIDI in, and MIDI thru. The out port transmits data that was created from another source, it would connect to a MIDI IN connection port on another instrument or sequencer. The IN port is used to receive data from another MIDI source, it used to take in data. The Thru port makes copies of the data that is coming through the MIDI in port, which allows the system to connect multiple devices without a need of many ports. The system also uses channels when creating music for a instrument, this means you can have up to 16 different sounds from the same instrument as long as they are on different channels. The system allows the artist to have a lot more creative control over what sound they are producing.

I personally found it complicated to understand what the MIDI was. But I found it super interesting learning about it. It is so cool how music producers can now create anything in the studio because of this invention. Here is an article about how MIDI changed the world of music: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-20425376

This was a great refresher article for me because I utilize MIDI everyday. My choice DAW is FL Studio and I use an oxygen 49 midi controller to create songs. I first learned about MIDi when deciding what controller I wanted to purchase, and automatically felt drowned by the sea of information about MIDI. Now I understand what it is completely. The article I included is actually for the MIDI controller I own.

It’s hard to argue against the efficiency of MIDI because it truly offers the sound anyone wants. In the article it talks about how if you dont like the specific sound of a piano, you can just change it. I have never felt like I possess the skill to make music, but if i did i would definitely give MIDI a try because it seems like a very good option if you want to customized your sound to find the perfect sound.

I have never heard of MIDI until recently. The whole recording music is new to me, but from what i have read MIDI has made recording music easier as well as more efficient. You can record different music at several different times and then merge them together to create the songs you want to record. It has made music so much easier to record which is why its such an innovative tool.

In the world of ever evolving technology, Midi was born to be the ultimate instrument for whatever music you wanted to make in this digital world. Again another case of companies working together, they all helped to create the best Midi system. It shows that sometimes some things are just too worth it to not help make the best instead of slowly innovate.

I never really understood what MIDI was. Little did i know that I’ve been around it for most of my time as a musician. I always saw small keyboards but never really knew how to use them. But now i’m more familiar with the device and i realize how useful it is for making music. More about MIDI:

The MIDI is a music interface tool that’s been in use all the way since 1982. It allows for electronic instruments to communicate with each other via computer. While it IS a very helpful music mixing tool, the sound that comes off of it doesn’t really have the same feel as a raw band recording and mixing. The machine “optimizes” the music, making it sound very automatic. Still, a very revolutionary tool in music mixing, with very talented people behind the machines.

Although i may not understand the concept very well, MIDI does seem to play a huge roll in recording music. The developers won a Grammy in Innovation, so you know its a bid deal. Its amazing how this invention made complex music processes that could take hours become something that you could do in seconds. I’ve always wanted to make my own music and MIDI does seem like a way i can do that, i just really don’t know where i would start.
